What an eventful year 2022 has been. Let's take a look back at our Hug Hampers Highlights for 2022!
Launching on NOTHS
In March 2022, we launched on the UK's leading gifting platform, Not on the Highstreet! This was a big move for us, allowing us to tap into a huge online market for our Hug Hamper collections. You can visit our NOTHS shop here.
Shooting Star Children's Hospice
In April 2022, we donated a Luxe Picnic Hug Hamper to the Shooting Star Children's Hospice as a prize for their St George's Day ball raffle. We were honoured to be able to donate to such an important charity, who cares for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions.
Gee, Co-Founder of Hug Hampers became a chartered Civil Engineer
In August 2022, Gee, Hug Hampers Co-Founder became a chartered Civil Engineer!
6 years of various experiences and site visits.
It all came together. Over 150 hours just preparing for a single day but it got done.
All because of a super supportive network of people.
Meet the Founder's photoshoot
In September 2022, Hug Hampers shot our professional 'Meet the Founders' photos for the business! It was important for us to put our face to the brand, so we can relate and engage with our customers at a personal level. Everyone say 'cheese'!
Jo, Co-Founder of Hug Hampers became a registered Architect
After 9 long years of 3 qualifications, multiple work placements, coursework, exams, and everything in between, I (Jo) became a registered Architect! 2022 was a busy and challenging year in completing this milestone, but I am super grateful for all the support I received from my tutors, colleagues, peers, friends and family during this journey. Fun fact, my architectural background has also given me transferable skills in being the Creative Director at Hug Hampers!
Black-Owned Christmas Market
In December 2022, Hug Hampers participated in our first-ever pop-up market hosted by BlackEatsLDN at Brixton Village Market. Along with our Christmas and Picnic Collections, we debuted our new Mini Pamper Hug Hampers that were made exclusively for the market. Our Connect Cards were a hit on the day too! It was lovely being able to meet our customers face-to-face and network with other talented entrepreneurs who were also part of the market! A big thank you to everyone who came by or purchased from us!
