We are Hug Hampers, a gift giving company but we are so much more than that.
We are on a journey called life! Figuring it all out step by step just like you. We aspire to create a community where we can share our insights with you and vice versa. Whether you have come here to find out more about us, our products, our future plans, our charity partners or something more personal such as relationship building tips or eco-friendly hacks. We got you!
I’m Gee, one of the Co-Founders and in particular to living a more eco-friendly life, I am by no means an expert. What I do know is that it is not about making big immediate steps but small changes that we can all adopt day by day. I have struggled with saying no to plastic as it is just too convenient. The plastic water bottle by my bed at night is a big offender. I have been reading Atomic Habits by James Clear and he explains that all you need to do is:
'Become 1% better each day to see major improvements in your life'
Therefore, all I need to do is fill up my reusable metal bottle every evening and job done! A key point I took from the book is attaching new (and good) habits to existing habits. For example when I eat dinner I typically pour myself a drink. I could use this opportunity to also fill up my bottle. Simple right? (I still struggle). I love little tips like that from the books I read but I won’t go on.
As Hug Hampers, our values not only run through our business but through us as Co-Founders and friends. As we grow as people and as a business we want to share that with others. That’s one of the reasons we wanted a charity partner.
As you give, we also give
We have ambitions of rotating our charity partners on a quarterly basis and positively impacting the lives of others. However, we need to walk before we can run. We are still in the baby steps of our journey so we decided to start with 'Operation Christmas Child'. It aligns so much with who we are and even better we get to create mini hampers (kinda) to HUG those all over the world. I’m pretty excited about creating these to be honest, we must put it on the timeline.
Our products go through a development process, where we hash out and think deeply about what we are creating. We want you to experience something that brings you and your loved ones together.

The pandemic has definitely taught me that family, friends and life are so precious and we must use the time we have effectively to do the things we enjoy. Quality over quantity, every time. We are very invested in how you experience our products and if there is anything we could do to improve it, please please do reach out and let us know. Every day is a school day right?
